Terms and Conditions for Translation Rate Schedule
  1. A minimum charge of 200 words/characters applies to all translation jobs submitted through our system except translations between Japanese and Chinese where the minimum charge is 400 characters.
  2. A surcharge may be applied for highly technical documents and/or user manuals etc. Quotations are available on submission.
  3. All jobs that take more than 72 hours to complete will be charged at the lowest corresponding rates quoted.
  4. We translate a maximum of 1,500 words/characters in a 24-hour turnaround period, 3,000 words/characters in 48 hours and 4,500 words/characters in 72 hours.
  5. There will be a 20% surcharge for jobs that exceed the maximum number of words within the time periods stated in point 4.
  6. Clients are encouraged to open a FREE MYL online account after their first job is completed. For those who choose not to use the automated system, there will be a manual handling charge of HKD100 per file.
  7. DTP prices are not included in the above rates. For a quotation, please contact your Account Manager or email service@myl.com.hk
  8. If MYL is asked to liaise with a third party, there will be an administration fee of 10%, subject to a minimum charge of HKD200.
